biolution project overview

  1. FP6

From 2006 until 2011 biolution was a partner for the Mimovax project. The project started in October 2006 and ended in December 2011 with 2.4 Million euro from the EC and a 2 Million euro contribution by the participating SME.

  2. FP7

From 2007 until 2013 Biolution was partner to many successful EU grants under the Framework Program 7. These included proposal support and project management alongside a full graphic and media design service.

  3. Horizon 2020

Under the new EU funding scheme Horizon 2020, biolution was involved in varying levels in many projects and grants.

  4. National Grants

From 2017 biolution was also successful in achieving three nationally funded grants with an SFB and two at the Ludwig Boltzmann institute.

  5. Horizon Europe

After the success of Horizon 2020, 2021 saw biolution continue with three new ERC grants and the launch of FANTOM, an EU funded project comprising of 7 beneficiaries and 12 associated partners in 5 EU countries.

  6. National grants

From 2021 until now we are also partnering on projects on a national level, including the newly formed Cluster of Excellence.

“THE SUPPORT BY BIOLUTION WAS HELPFUL DURING STAGE ONE OF THE CALL,
BUT ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL TO OBTAIN OUR H2020 GRANT IN STAGE TWO.”

SYSVASC

EU-FP7 research project to identify molecular targets for vascular disease treatment. sysVASC has made substantial progress towards identifying molecular targets of cardiovascular disease and a specialised knowledge base will aid future research.

SYMPATH

The SYMPATH project was initiated to address two synucleinopathies for which no causal therapy exists, namely Parkinson’s disease (PD) and Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Ultimately, both lead to patient disability and death, which along with the number of affected individuals (PD) and the age of disease onset (MSA, PD), define their high medical need status.

EUthyroid

EUthyroid is the first pan-European initiative to take on the challenge of investigating the iodine intake of the European population. This should provide the basis to develop appropriate measures for harmonizing and improving the iodine intake in Europe in cooperation with national authorities.

"Invaluable help and support"

"Invaluable help and support covering from the ‘concept’ to the ‘writing’. Helping to drive a ‘good idea’ to a ‘fully competitive project’, being able to learn on how to design and write a grant application to be successful. Fully recommended."
