Anuradha Genrich graduated from Visual Communication (Bachelors of Science) with top honours from University of Madras, India. She is a Master Course graduate from NABA-Milan, Italy and one of three international students awarded a full scholarship for Milan Network Design Project.
Before Biolution, Anuradha worked as a freelancer in Vienna. Her portfolio included a wide variety of corporate identity, print and social media design for clients such as the Wiener Linien, EU-DEL, Stadt Wien and Welt Museum to name a few.
As a freelancer she has worked closely with is-Design GmbH, on diverse projects conceiving user- friendly, infographic design solutions that can seamlessly process information visually – including successful completion of colossal project of redesigning the ‘Umgebungsplan / surrounding area maps’ for over 98 U-bahn stations and other key intersections in the city of Vienna.
At Biolution, Anuradha’s love affair with information design continues as she explores function, encourages communication and differentiates narratives through the visualisation of her design. An enthusiast for detail, her work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool, as a method for improving the interactions between people and the products they use.
Having worked in India, Berlin and Vienna, she supports the creative team with her own unique cross-cultural point of view integrating global perspectives in design solutions.
“Good design is actually a lot harder to notice than poor design, in part because good designs fit our needs so well that the design is invisible.”
